Our office located in Lincoln, RI, is seeking an intern for our Internal Audit Department. This is a paid internship, and the required working hours are at least 10 hours per week. This internship will begin in the Fall semester with potential of continuing through future semesters.
Our internship program is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college/university. The candidate must have completed their sophomore year before the start of the internship and should be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Analytics. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
This position involves supporting the Internal Audit function as they mature their data analytics capabilities. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development of dashboards
- Script development to automate testing procedures
- Automating data feeds and cleansing (ETL)
- Candidates must be familiar with data analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with exceptional organizational skills
- The ability to work in a team environment is also required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Excel and database SQL concepts is a plus.
- Training will be provided.
This Amica experience will be an excellent way for students to receive hands-on experience.
