GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: a ccurately and efficiently reconciling inventory through cycle counts, supporting on-site supplier audits , performing scrap pulls, following department operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supports all audit streams through pulling, staging and counting product with high accuracy and great attention to detail:
  • S upplier on-site audits
  • Foreign Trade Zone audits
  • Receiving/transactional audits
  • Supports scrap reclaim projects
  • P ulling and counting product
  • S taging for delivery to s crap reclaim facility
  • Performs cycle counts with high accuracy and great attention to detail
  • Investigates discrepancies found and updates the system to reflect the correct information
  • Uses discrepancies to find root causes and recommendations to correct
  • Performs quality checks on required items
  • Safely handles product while in ESD safe areas
  • Participates in continuous process improvement events and activities
Job Requirements:

Performs additional duties as assigned

Forklift usage may be required

Occasional travel to our Portsmouth warehouse may be required

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 1 year inventory control or warehouse experience preferred

High attention to detail

General knowledge of Microsoft office

Problem solving, analytical thinking, maintaining cleanliness and organization

Must be able to:

Speak and understand English

Read/follow written and verbal instructions

Work as part of a group or work independently to perform functions accurately

Multi-task

Prior forklift and order picker experience preferred with valid driver's license and clean driving record

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Social/Environmental Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods or walk throughout the warehouse daily

Ability to change priorities when needed

Warehouse environment with occasional exposure to dust

Sensory Requirements:

High level of visual acuity needed and ability to pass standard near vision testing with or without corrective lenses

Close work (paperwork, visual examination)

Visual clarity up to 20 feet

Color vision preferred

Reading

Hot/cold temperature

Conversation

Monitoring equipment

Telephone, computer and keyboard

Background noise

Sharp Tools

Dull lighting

Physical Requirements:

Medium physical work

Occasionally exerting force of 50-100 lbs.

Occasionally walking/standing

Frequently twisting/bending

Power grasping with both hands

Moderate keyboard use

Reaching above shoulder and below shoulder

Pushing items up over 100 lbs.

Lifting/carrying items up to 50-100 lbs.

Job requires some endurance with up to 5-6 hours without a break
