Company's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) leads a global marketing organization that plans, conceives and executes marketing activities to achieve the financial and strategic objectives of the business, and protect and strengthen the reputation of the firm with all of its key constituencies. Areas of responsibility include marketing and brand strategy, earned media, digital marketing, marketing operations, sales and product alignment, budget management and tracking return on marketing investment. The CMO has considerable senior leadership experience in marketing; thorough knowledge of marketing principles, client engagement, demand creation/business development, and brand management across all media; and a demonstrated track record of success and performance. This senior leadership position requires a strong understanding of and fluency with the financial services industry and the ability to understand changing market dynamics and translate them into actionable strategy.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Between 15 and 20 years of marketing experience, at least five of which are in a significant leadership role. B to B marketing experience in a publicly traded company and regulated industry is highly desirable.

Brand strategy and management including extending current brands into new markets, managing brands through acquisition and developing brands; ability to demonstrate the brand's role and value in broader ecosystem. Demonstrated abilities in building strong brand platform including through articulation of purpose, value proposition, thought leadership and key sponsorships.

Strong digital prowess across all marketing channels with proven ability to

innovate.

Proven ability to tie demand creation efforts directly to revenue pipeline, including

inbound marketing, lead nurturing and account-based marketing; A clear track

record of aligning with sales around these areas is vital.

Deep experience in reputation and earned media including leading crisis and

corporate communications (both public relations and social media).

Experience in running a truly global marketing function including country

marketing and shared services that support global marketing efforts; ability to

demonstrate unique marketing differences around the globe and cultural fluency.

Has led institutional and channel marketing, including client advocacy programs,

global client groups and conferences, including large-scale events that were

revenue-generating and impactful.

Demonstrated ability to managing the infrastructure requirements of marketing,

including marketing automation and mar-tech stack, digital marketing, business

intelligence and marketing point tools (e.g. Seismic, Adobe Campaign)

Experience running marketing operations to develop and operationalize

marketing measurements, including the demonstration of marketing's value and

how the information is used for tactical and strategic decision making.
